5. Database Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, maintain, and optimize transactional, data warehouse, and analytical database systems
- Prepare, design, and support Business Information Supports and Report Developers to develop operational and analytical reports
- Reports to Infrastructure/Application Manager
Requirements:
- Graduated (Bachelor's Degree) with good results from a reputable university majoring Information Technology/Management, Computer Science, or other related fields.
- Having 3-6 years of experience in installing, configuring, administering, maintaining database systems
- Having excellent knowledge and skills in RDBMS on Microsoft SQL Server (2000/2005/2008) database; preferably familiar as well with Oracle (10g/11g) and MySQL
- Certification in database administration would be a valuable advantage
- Preferably having good experience and skills in Unix environment (Solaris/Linux)
- Preferably having good experience and skills in data warehouse and ETL tools such as Pentaho Data Integration
- Preferably having good knowledge in OLAP/Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft DTS and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Having good communication skills, good English proficiency, self motivated, and is a team player.
