The successful candidate will have first class experience with C++, C#, dot-NET and AJAX code and will work as part of an international team. Rockliffe’s headquarters are in Silicon Valley with offices in Edinburgh and Jakarta, Indonesia.

Rockliffe is recruiting an experienced developer to work on its Windows email server technology. The successful candidate will have first class experience with C++, C#, dot-NET and AJAX code and will work as part of an international team. Rockliffe’s headquarters are in Silicon Valley with offices in Edinburgh and Jakarta, Indonesia.
As a developer for Rockliffe’s mobile messaging
software, you will be working on a range of projects which deliver
communications software used by millions of users worldwide.
You will be a key member of a small team that
is focused on delivering software into the hands of end-users through agile
development practices, with minimal red-tape and bureaucracy.
Your job will consist of:

30% Development
o Collaborate
on technology choices and design decisions
o Develop
new features and enhance existing ones
·
50% Support
o On-going
support and maintenance in collaboration with the Technical Support Department
·
20% QA
o Testing
new software features and builds
Candidates
must:
·
Have at least two years
related work experience
·
Have excellent verbal and
written English skills
·
Be in commutable distance to Jakarta
·
Possess solid OO programming
experience
·
Have a working knowledge of
C++, C# and JavaScript
The following skills are also desirable:
·
1st or 2:1 degree in a Computing
related field
·
Development with Visual Studio
·
Experience with Internet
protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, HTTP and XMPP)
·
Familiarity with Windows OS
