Rockliffe is recruiting an experienced developer to work on its Windows email server technology.   The successful candidate will have first class experience with C++, C#, dot-NET and AJAX code and will work as part of an international team.   Rockliffe’s headquarters are in Silicon Valley with offices in Edinburgh and Jakarta, Indonesia.

As a developer for Rockliffe’s mobile messaging software, you will be working on a range of projects which deliver communications software used by millions of users worldwide.

You will be a key member of a small team that is focused on delivering software into the hands of end-users through agile development practices, with minimal red-tape and bureaucracy.

Your job will consist of:

·         30% Development

o   Collaborate on technology choices and design decisions

o   Develop new features and enhance existing ones

·         50% Support

o   On-going support and maintenance in collaboration with the Technical Support Department

·         20% QA

o   Testing new software features and builds

Candidates must:

·         Have at least two years related work experience

·         Have excellent verbal and written English skills

·         Be in commutable distance to Jakarta

·         Possess solid OO programming experience

·         Have a working knowledge of C++, C# and JavaScript

The following skills are also desirable:

·         1st or 2:1 degree in a Computing related field

·         Development with Visual Studio

·         Experience with Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, HTTP and XMPP)

·         Familiarity with Windows OS
