Vacancy for Network Support

Position: Network Support

Department/Team: IT Department / IT Infrastructure Unit

Location: Jakarta

Team Description:

The Network Support team is based in Jakarta, having responsibility for
implementation and support of the RI Indonesia WAN/LAN. It works closely
with the Network Engineering Team in engineering projects, and in network
analysis reviews.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure.

Network Support will be responsible for:

- Install, configure, and support the LANs WANs and Internet
systems.

- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system
users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

- To manage performance tuning and capacity planning activities to
enhance the performance of the network resources.

- Analyze and regularly report on network utilisation and
performance, identify problems.

- Work closely with Network Engineer on network design and the
implementation projects.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

- CCNA certified

- Extensive knowledge of computer network system protocols.

- Good knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking

- Good knowledge of Cisco routing and switching platforms

- Good knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF

- Good knowledge Network management platforms e.g. HP OpenView,
Netflow Tracker and Packet Analysis software e.g. Ethereal, Sniffer

- Strong knowledge of network management practices and procedures

- About three years experience in telecommunications in banking or
finance industry

- Experience in the deployment of VoIP solutions in general, and
Tatung specifically.

- Good documentation skills.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft/ Linux networking
infrastructure.

- Good level of English (confident in speaking and writing)

Computing Skills Required:

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Other Requirements:

Good inter-personal skills

Good presentation skills

Works well under pressure

Able to travel within Indonesia
