Responsibilities

- Under limited supervision, respond to and diagnose complex hardware,
software, and network problems varying in difficulty through discussions
with end-users or through hands-on support for PCs, servers, mainframe
applications, and hardware. May be assisted by electronic help desk
tools and problem management systems.
- Interact with vendors and other functional teams in order to restore
services and correct core problems.
- Respond to, diagnoses, configures and deploys hardware in accordance
with agreed upon SLAs.
- Simulate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
- Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
- Act as a liaison to the Customer Services Team.
- Assist lower level specialists or coordinate responsibilities of team.
- Handle special projects as needed.Knowledge of network communications
and electronic mail administration.

Education/Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in business, an IT related field or equivalent.
- 5+ years of industry experience.

Skills Requirement

- Skilled in supporting Windows platform and Microsoft Suite, PC
software, hardware and peripherals, UNIX, LAN/WAN, messaging,
telecommunications, and NSM Tools. Strong organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Wintel Environment.
