*Company: *Rockliffe develops mobile communication software for service
providers and businesses. The company has three products: MailSite,
AstraSync and AstraChat. MailSite is an email, chat, calendar and contact
management software server that is used by tens of thousands of customers to
host more than 10 million mailboxes worldwide. AstraSync is a BlackBerry
application which allows you to sync your email, calendar and contacts over
the air. AstraChat is a cross-platform mobile chat and push mail
application.

*Job Summary: *The primary goal is to deliver first class support services
to MailSite customers. Support services are delivered to customers through
e-mail, telephone, remote tools such as Terminal Services and occasionally
onsite.

· Developing new features and enhancing existing ones

· On-going support and maintenance in collaboration with Technical
Support Department

· Analyzing and resolving technical problems with technical support

· Documenting and replicating bugs & malfunctions

· Testing of new products

· Working on different projects as the need arises

*Qualifications Required: *

· Experience developing J2ME applications on BlackBerry

· Experience with J2ME UI development

· Experience with J2ME data storage

· Experience with HTTP network communication

· Solid Java OO programming

· Development with Eclipse and Ant

· Debugging and profiling J2ME applications

· Developing custom Canvas-based UI components is desirable

· 1st or 2:1 degree in a Computing related field

*Additional Considerations: *

· Future prospects within the company could include Android platform
development, although no previous experience of this is required

· Any relevant previous experience

· Certifications from Microsoft/Cisco Etc etc.

· Multilingual a plus
