The Indonesian Ecolabelling Institute (LEI) is a non‐profit and constituent‐based organization promoting sustainable forest managemetn through certification mangement to achieve ecological sustainabilty, social fairness and economic viability.  As a constituent‐based organization, LEI’s derives its mandate from its four constituent chamber: indigenous people and community forest chamber; business chamber; NGO chamber; and eminent persons’ chamber. Currently, LEI has certified more than 1.5 million hectares managed sustainably under LEI standard. LEI goals is to expand the certification systems that include other management and product based certification. To achieve the goal and ambition, LEI has dynamic and highly energized team, dedicated board members and loyal and supportive constituents. To further strengthen the organization LEI is hiring the Executive Director to translate the vision into program and to lead the team.

Executive Director

We offer best benefit for the position of Executive Director (ED). She/He will be responsible for leading and managing the entire operation of LEI. The ED will be responsible to the Board of Constituent Representative or Majelis Perwalian Anggota (MPA). We look for hardworking and dedicated candidate with high integrity with the following criteria:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Forestry or Agriculture or other related major on nature resource management. Master Degree in management, or natural resource management is preferred
• Fully conversant on the issue of sustainable nature resource management at local, regional, national and international levels.
• More than 10 (ten) years experience of working with five of those in leadership position.
• Strong leadership capacity
• Strong analytical thinking and a highly organized person.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Able to work in a team.
• Able to work under strict timeline and under pressure
• Excellent English, both writing and speaking.
