Nexusguard is an anti-DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) provider
established in 2008 in order to meet the growing need to provide a globally
distributed, carrier neutral anti-DDOS solution to customers via a
fully-meshed network of scrubbing centers. These scrubbing centers feature
both commercially available off-the-shelf equipment and proprietary app and
are combined with significant network capacity from multiple carriers, to
provide massive mitigation capacity.
Nexus Guard is seeking a Project Manager for our offices in Hong Kong.
Managing an exception team of security professionals, you will be
responsible for tracking the projects and product implementations in support
of our service operations. This position is also an excellent opportunity
to broaden the scope of your technical knowledge, to grow beyond just
running equipment and to learn in-depth the protocols behind the Internet
and their security implications.

Network Security Engineer
*Job Purpose*
To implement, configure, administer, and manage the hardware and software
needed to support a growing Managed Security Services Provider. To act as an
escalation point regarding critical security issues to ensure timely,
secured and resilient delivery of IT services to customer-base
*Key Accountability Areas*
- Implement and manage technologies, infrastructure, and systems to
support the efficient operation and administration of our infrastructure.
- To constantly analyse, review and maintain the network security
infrastructure to support the changing business needs effectively.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for network
maintenance and monitoring to provide 24x7 network availability.
- Plan, design and implement network Capacity Management to manage
resources and predict the need for additional capacity proactively to
support the growth of the company.
- Participate in escalated incident/problem management by diagnosing the
occurrence of advanced incidents/attacks and then rectify the underlying
problems
*Other Duties & Responsibilities*
- To assess, recommend, lead and implement security controls and modules
to ensure sufficient protection of corporate intellectual property and
business continuity of customers.
- To conduct security review on all planned new hardware and software to
ensure there are no compromises to security standards and procedures.
- Implementation and maintenance of network management tools, such as
PRTG, Syslog, Rancid, ArcSight, etc.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective handling of security
incidents and open communication with customers.
*Qualifications*
*(A) Education*
- Diploma or Degree
- Professional certificates like CCIE/JNCIE or SANS GCIA/GCIH, etc.
*(B) Experience*
- Minimum 5 years experience in Systems/Security positions in Service
Provider environments.
- Experience in implementing scalable servers and services
- Experience in various Linux flavors and other operating systems
- Experience in packet analysis software (tcpdump, tethereal, Wireshark)
- Experience in web traffic management (proxy farm, load balancing)
*(C) Knowledge*
- advance knowledge of scalable systems and network troubleshooting
- working knowledge of Internet technologies (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, UDP,
ICMP, HTTP(S), GRE, SMTP, DNS, and SSL)
- knowledge of DDoS Attack types will be advantageous
- knowledge of WAN technologies (TCP/IP, BGP routing, anycast etc)
- experience in DDoS mitigation devices like Cisco Guard, Arbor SP/TMS
will be advantageous.
*(D) Skills*
- Expert in scalable server implementation and management
- Expert in implementing and administrating clustered firewalls
- Skilled in implementing and administrating Cisco, Juniper core
routers/switches.
- Skilled in implementing and administrating BGP routing protocol.
- Expert in implementing and administrating load balancer, web proxy farm
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin

Network Security Analyst
*Job Purpose*
The focus on an NSA is to monitor and analyze internet traffic for security
breaches or denial of services attack, and apply mitigation technique to
counter such incidents to ensure timely, secured and resilient delivery of
IT services to the customers. This position is an excellent opportunity to
broaden the scope of your technical knowledge, to grow beyond just running
equipment and to learn the protocols behind the Internet in-depth.
*Key Accountability Areas*
- Own customer-related configurations on each device in our
infrastructure.
- Use packet analysis tools to identify DDoS attack vectors across a
variety of Internet protocols, such as TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
- Utilize both off-the-shelf and proprietary devices to filter malicious
DDoS traffic from customers real traffic.
- Troubleshooting of routers and routing to solve complex network
connectivity issues.
- Manage customer support tickets and telephone calls on an ongoing
basis.
- Escalation of customer issues to engineering staff in an expedient
manner
*Other Duties & Responsibilities*
- Escalation of network issues to upstream service providers, as needed
- To suggest and implement policy, procedure, and technology improvements
for the betterment of Nexus Guard operational efficiency, employee
satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.
*Qualifications*
*(A) Education*
- Diploma or Degree
- Network and Security professional certificates like CCNP/JNCIS desired.
*(B) Experience*
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in Network/Security position, preferably
in Service Provider or other Large-Scale network environment.
- Experience in TCP/IP, Routing, anycast etc.
- Experience in packet analysis software (tcpdump, tethereal, and
Wireshark)
- Experience in web traffic management (proxy farm, load balancing)
- Experience in a customer-facing environment
*(C) Knowledge*

Project Manager
*Job Responsibilities:*
- Manage the implementation of technical projects throughout our company,
including; software development, network engineering, research, and sales
and provide updates to management on a regular basis;
- Manage the implementation of product implementations and provide
updates to customers regularly;
- Ensure smooth implementation with all deliverables completed without
delay;
- Liaise with internal departments, vendors and partners on service
provisions process effectively; and

*Skills/Abilities:*
- University graduate in Computer Science, Tele-communication, Business
Administration or related subjects;
- A minimum of three (3) years working experience in Telecom or IT
industries;
- Experience on project management is a must;

- Knowledge of routers is preferable;
- Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving
skills and ability to set priorities;
- Good command of English and Mandarin.
