In support of our operation in Indonesia as part of Emerio's strategy to
strengthen its presence in Asia, we are looking for young and
experienced Professional to fulfill following position:
Senior System Administrator
_*Role Description*_
As part of the Onsite Operations Team, the Senior Systems Administrator
will be
responsible for:
* Working with project teams to define the server and storage
infrastructure requirements for new/updated systems.
* Creating detailed solution designs to meet the server and storage
infrastructure requirements defined by projects.
* Provide advice and knowledge on industry best practice in
infrastructure architecture standards.
* Perform capacity management & planning, availability management
and planning, and performance management and planning for all UNIX
server and storage infrastructure environments.
* Assist and, where required document, new/updated operational
procedures to be used by on-site Systems Administration and remote
Remote Operations Management Delivery as part of Production Support.
_*Skills and Capabilities Required*_
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication),
Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
* At least 8 years experience in UNIX Systems Administration,
preferably with the Solaris Operating System
* Good knowledge of Solaris 8, 9 and 10 -- with a good understanding
of the new features availability in Solaris 10
* Good knowledge of Veritas Clustering (preferred) or Sun Clustering
e.g. Sun Cluster 3.1 or higher
* Knowledge of Veritas products and their deployment e.g. VSF-HA,
VSF Storage Foundation, etc
* Knowledge of Oracle Weblogic in an advantage
* 5 years experience in SAN administration, preferably with large
scale SAN environments.
* Experience working with Sun SE9980, SE9990 SAN infrastructure,
Veritas NetBackup
* 2+ years experience writing scripts e.g. Shell, Perl, Ruby,
Python, etc
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP
* Strong motivational skills
* Experience managing infrastructure projects, especially
accreditation in a Project Management Methodology

*The candidate should possess the following accreditation (or its
equivalent):*
* Certified Solaris Systems Administrator I and II
* Cerified Solaris Security Administrator
* Certified Veritas products
* Certified Sun StorEdge 99xx -- Overview and Configuration
* Sun StorEdge 9900-V Hardware and Software Fundamentals
* Certified Sun StorEdge 99xx -- Overview and Configuration
* Sun StorEdge 9900-V Hardware and Software Fundamentals
* Hitachi Hi-Command Device Manager
* Replication Fundamentals
* Prince2 Project Management
* ITIL Foundation Certificate
