"This is a senior engineering position for a person with
substantial knowledge and experience of the function and operation of
fiber optics and SDH equipment along with it management system, network
synchronization, drop and insert functions, alarm management,
environmental power and air conditioning in drop stations, earthing and
lightening requirements, and all matters to do with compliance with
electrical and functional specifications. The person must be able to
competently prepare rack elevations and as build drawings for all drop
stations, be able to prepare acceptance test plans for factory
inspection and testing of SDH equipment, and be able to conduct site
acceptance and handover with local regulator.
Preferably the one who also had good understanding of DWDM, SONET, etc.
Based in Sharjah, frequent travel to Chad."
