Gameloft is looking for a dynamic and strong intermediate UNIX administrator with solid Linux experience to join the Global Network Services (GNS) team.

Duties and responsibilities include:
* Level 2/3 support
* Linux systems and services administration
* Local systems technical support
* Write and maintain procedures and policies
Requirements:
* 3 to 5+ years UNIX experience in a high-volume critical production service environment with an emphasis on programming and/or scripting, task automation, and security best practices
* Strong English communication ability, written and spoken
* Able to work autonomously
* Strong knowledge of PHP, bash, Perl, etc., with experiencing building database driven web applications an asset
* Solid experience with Apache (HTTP) and MySQL in a production environment mandatory
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting
* Experience with proxies (for example Squid) a definite asset
* Experience with Subversion (server-side administration) an asset
* Experience with monitoring tools such as SNMP, Cacti, MRTG, Nagios, etc.
* Experience with UNIX email subsystems with antivirus solutions, DNS, FTP, etc. an asset
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organizational and project management skills and analysis methodology
* Ability to work under stress and in a 24x7x365 production environment is essential
